Synplant with Genopatch
Anyone a big Synplant fan? This is my first Desktop synth. Might be a weird one to start with, but the organic development of sounds is very cool. I’ve only used it a bit, but I’m excited to dive into it.
Edit:
Original post concerning an error loading wav files was resolved by loading the sample in logic and exporting from there as a wav file. I’ll leave the OP in case anyone else has the issue.
****I am unable to use the Genopatch feature - any time I try to import a wave file I get the error "Error: Invalid WAV file (invalid chunk sizes)". This happens from a locally downloaded .wav file, and happens whether I use the import button or drag and drop.
I was running the demo version and upgraded - I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Purchased yesterday so it should be the latest stable version.
I'm on a 2023 Mac mini w/ M2 Chip, 16 GB RAM, running Sequoia 15.5. The issues happens in standalone and as a Logic Pro plugin.
.
I posted this on the forums for the software, but maybe others here have had the issue and know a workaround, or have the issue and need to know the workaround. (You’re welcome person 10 years from now searching for this error)
Comments
have you tried to load the wav in a wav editor and resave it...!?
I'm on a mini M1, 15.5 and no issues. Corrupt wav maybe.
Edit: Only tried S.A (don't own Logic on desktop)
Good look on resaving the wav file - I loaded my sample in logic and exported. Worked fine after that.
This is a very cool synth. Might be a weird one to start with on Desktop, but I like eclectic design.
Thanks for checking @Pxlhg
