Thank you for confirming this bug.
Sorry guys if I came across stroppy but I do, and have beta tested lots of apps for far too long
And sometimes rush posts out.
I am the 1st to admit a user error ;-)
I just learned 'stroppy'.
Hmmm, playing a single bar for each pattern for me, did I do it right ?
made 4 x 1 bar patterns...added them to song mode as 1 bar each.
Yes playing 2 bars each not 1.
playing 1 bar each for me ?
Use the presets please
Ahh yes...good spot....if the pattern is longer than 1 bar, it plays the whole pattern even if added to song mode as a single bar. so the bars counter when adding to song mode is acting like a number of repeats instead of a number of bars.
@LuisMartinez in Funk Drummer....
Cheers Andy ;-)
haha, did the definition come up as 'Teenager'
Good find
After Messing with Pure Acid’s Composer (Randomizer), one can only imagine this in iBassist...... Now, add Jam Intensity..😎
Jazz Drummer seems to have a bug exporting MIDI.. seems the bar count does not export the set bars..
Hope we get export for Future Drummer soon..🙏
Ok now we have some confirmed user issues.
Once these are fixed can you please let us know if AUv3 is coming, and if not can
We at least get State Saving ?
@LuisMartinez
From past comments, it sounds like he has looked into porting to AUv3 and found it to be problematic. It doesn't seem like there are near-term plan for it. It can be a huge huge project to port apps not designed as AU to be AU.
How would you see State Saving functioning? As far as I known for IAA apps it can only be done if they support Audiobus specific State Saving and are hosted in Audiobus. IAA apps cannot state save in any other host. (I think... (?) )
Or do you simply mean that when you restart the app it is where you last left it (technically not state saving)?
Yes, Audiobus state saving. So we can resume working without losing everything.
I just use BM3, Cubasis3, NS2 and AUM so it wouldn't really help me.
Unfortunately the Lumbeat apps don’t support AB3 state saving
As IAA is being depricated is there really any point ?
Until the major daws gets ableton link 100%
@LuisMartinez Love the Luis Martinez' drum apps. When is midi & audio export going to be implemented for ALL drums?
And how would Link in the DAW's help with state saving ?
It wouldn’t.
I fully expect Ableton Link to lose most of its relevance when IAA disappears. I can understand that host makers don't focus on implementing Link. It's really complicated from a hosting perspective and likely not worth the effort for much longer when everything is moving towards AUv3 anyway.
But you said until DAW's get link then state saving in AB is 100% worthwhile ? Or did I misunderstand something here ?
Not 100% sure I agree with this. Link was intended for syncing computers and iDevices....on iOS it got adopted for local syncing too. In terms of local sync on the device then yes 100% agree, but for sync between devices ?
Because audiobus 3 can state save and receives ext midi sync so it’s a bridge for IAA synced daws without link.
OK, but a DAW adopting Link would not change that, or would it ? I am thinking in terms of the Lumbeat apps here which can also receive ext MIDI sync
Yes, agreed, I was mainly talking about sync between local apps and why hosts aren't scrambling to get it implemented. Between devices Link will remain relevant even without IAA.
It would with iBassist because it only has link. IAA sync isn’t working.
Lumbeat all AUv3 = sorted.
