Filter Sweep?
Am I going mad or was there really a new app released the other day called something like Filter Sweep? I watched a little video of it on Facebook but now can’t see any reference to it at all. Does it exist or have I been sleep-watching apps in my dreams again?

Thanks but no - I already have that one. There was something new, by what looked like a Japanese developer, I think. Looked good, I recall, but I can’t find it. Maybe it was pulled for some technical reason. Or I imagined the whole thing!
I think you mean this https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1515611452?mt=8&uo=8&at=11l4Kv&uo=8&at=11l4Kv
No AuV3 ?
I can’t understand from the description. It is not mentioned. Anyone tried this?
This is the only video I have seen. Theres a write up about it on discchord website.
This review says no auv3

You mean ToneBoosters DualVCF
I saw other videos. No AUv3 confirmed😂
It implements the acoustic illusion of the "Shepard's tone" in both directions. That's a thought... make a track that goes up and downing infinitely at the same time.
That’s the one! Thank you so much. You tried it? I thought it looked good but wanted to see if anyone else has used it yet.
Thanks, and to others who have posted this, too. I’m so glad it turns out I wasn’t sleep App Store growing, after all 👍
It's NOT IAA, AUv3 or AudioBus... but maybe the developer will add that. It's a Japanese developer and the web site is in Japanese. But I bought it because the Shepard's Tone illusion is amazing to me and this app does it with a lot of variations and controls but IT'S STANDALONE so I'll have to run it on my phone and record using an audio interface.
You can change the speed, direction, etc. It's hypnotizing.
Would be very cool as an AUv3. Any Japanese speakers up for getting the request in?
I can just imagine a bunch of japanese commuters on mass transit listening to endless
"Shepard's Tones" as a form of meditation either towards the sky or down into the abyss.
I know AUv3 is tough to program but hopefully the potential additional sales will encourage an update. If not, it's probably ready for some competition by a clever synth
developer that can implement one of the DAW interop API's. With AUv3 we could run one up and another instance down and potentially split the conscious mind on the impossibility of approaching positive and negative infinity at the same time... do they
lead to the same location in curved space time? Only an infinite recording could answer the question and who has the storage for that?
A worthy pilgrimage to devote one’s life to.
Yeah, I imagine it could be pretty hypnotising. I couldn't access this app in the UK yesterday - I'll try again later on. The lack of AUV3 is a bit of a pain, though, it has to be said. Hopefully in an update.
