Sample Pitch modulation

I’m looking for a way to modulate the pitch of an audio loop with an efx Chain such as
On desktop I have used guitar rig’s analogue sequencer and the pitch pedal to get some interesting results when running samples through it.

I guess I could do this in Cubasis with drawing it in, but I’d like to set it up as an applied effect so I can use it in a more generative way switching samples etc.

All suggestions appreciated!

  • Bump

    I’ve tried a few auv3’s such as Discord4 and 4pockets pitch shifter.

Ideally I’m looking for something that gives a bit more of a glide between pitches.
There is a few guitar orientated stand-alones but need something that can be automated.
Looking at Drambo/mosaic buffs to share their knowledge possibly

    Halp plox

  • Both Turnado and ElasticFX have pitch shifters that can be automated, Kaoss Pad style.

  • Try iLEP. Should be exactly what you're looking for.

  • iLAP looks interesting think I’m going to have to stick my nose into it as it looks a bit of a beast to tame.

I’ve been looking at turnado For a while just wasn’t sure on the price tag,Cheers for the suggestions guys

  • iLEP doesn't have too many videos but both of these have quite comprehensive manuals out there.

The iLep tutorials are very comprehensive and feature pitch manipulation prominently (see screenshot). @NoahCounts

The Denglisch is also noteworthy. I think ‘Das Control Principle’ is going to be my new band name.

  • @Philandering_Bastard yes, I have noticed the german bits. They seem to have missed some bits when translating. There is also a german version of the manual out there.

  • Drambo has recently got a graphic modulator module added, with edit points snapping to timeline divisions to get shapes into beat sync more easily.
The grid snapping can be disabled too.
Here's one, controlling the pitch of the pitch shifter module:

  • Nice one chaps!

The green "rectangle" icon on the bottom of the Graphic Modulator likes to be connected e.g. to the same icon on the MIDI to CV module. It's a trigger signal that starts the modulator.
On the pitch shifter, tap the "Shift" knob once, then tap the sinewave output icon on the Graphic Modulator. It's the signal which can be audio (fast), modulation (slow) or whatever signal you shape it into.
When you've done that, a new modulation amount knob appears next to the Shift knob.
Turn it right to add the input signal to the adjusted Shift value, turn it left to subtract from it.
That's how modulation works in Drambo.
You can do this with every knob in a module that has a little grey triangle icon next to it, in case on the pitch shifter, only "Shift" can be influenced this way.
