    FYI Gumdrops isn't working with iOS8. An update is awaiting Apple's review.

    New in v1.2 are the following features:
    - Triplets
    - A/B/C/D Quick switch patterns
    - MIDI note send
    - Reverse sample
    - Set Beat mark on sample to align any position with the sequencer step

    I'm attracted to the idea of Gumdrops but am holding off as I mainly like 3 rhythms, and multiples of - 6s and 12s. 32 beats doesn't work for this kind of music. Other apps like Xynthesizr allow you to reduce that number to 24, for example. Is this a future possibility, or an impossibility given the nature of the app?

    @fjcblanco Yes you can safely update the app under iOS7. Also Apple now offers past version downloads so if you ever run into a build that doesn't work for you, you can get an older version.

    @Fitz New on the App Store is v1.2 which adds 24 step divisions as an option for each pad instead of 32.

    Nice app, its a blast to play, global swing and choke groups would be cool (sorry if i missed them). Looking forword to the hardware controller support.

    No x bars. Manual recording. It has Audiocopy but needs to be trimmed after.

    Yeah, what @Peanutcram said. Would definitely make it more useful if it added a Bounce Loop feature (I'm glaring in your general direction also, SeekBeats).

    Curious does this app have individual swing per sample as well as global, or global swing only?

    Otherwise this app is looking good, and I'd like to echo the above sentiments that proper audio export/bounce of loops is so important!!!
