Novation Remote SL      Yamaha DX7 Templates

Load 8 linked templates into your Remote in the following order:

DX7 MIX
DX7 MOD PITCH
DX7 OP 1
DX7 OP 2
DX7 OP 3
DX7 OP 4
DX7 OP 5
DX7 OP 6

You will overwrite any templates that you currently have set up. 
Don't forget to press “write” button after loading each template.

Notes:

Mix template:
Detune is on a button where 7 on Remote (default) = 0 Detune on DX7. 8-15 is +detune, 0-6 is -detune.
Algorithm display on Remote will be 1 digit lower than actual algorithm #.
I included a latching sustain button (cc) currently set up for midi ch 1.

Mod Pitch template:
In the pitch envelope section, All "rates" have been inverted and labeled “time” in order for sliders to function in a more standard way. 
They will feel backwards to DX7 purists, but familiar to users of most other synths. Readout will go from 99 at “minimum” time to 0 at “max.” 
I included knobs (cc) for breath control and foot control amounts on midi ch 1. 
These can be used as modulators without connecting the hardware.

The modulator “assign” buttons are a bit wonky. This was due to a limitation in the DX7 sysex spec.
For any modulator “assign” button,
0= all off
1= pitch on
2= amp on
3= pitch and amp on
4= EG bias on
5= pitch and EG bias on
6= amp and EG bias on
7= all on

Operator templates:
Envelope “rates” have been inverted and changed into conventional “time” sliders with inverted readouts. 
There are non-functional label pots to indicate the operator being edited.
