IAA sync switch in loopy
The latest loopy update (1.4.17) gives us an IAA sync switch which is on by default. What happens when the switch is disabled? Does it stop syncing or does the spectacular sync thingy take over? It is too late here to plug stuff in for testing so I thought someone has the answer to this...casually.

Yes, if it's disabled it stops sync and you have to send it sync by other methods. So I guess there are 2 different syncs available (at least). Both syncs seemed fine in Auria (IAA and send sync), although I haven't done any major testing.
Thanks @Fitz I meant the IAA switch rather than the main sync switch. I just did some testing and indeed there doesn't seem to be any difference whether the IAA sync switch (bottom of the list) is on or not. Seems like a strange addition though if it doesn't really do anything. Doesn't seem like @Michael would do such a thing....@Michael?
I tested inside Auria, using Loopy as IAA, and if you disable the IAA sync the controls of Auria don't start and control Loopy. You can regain control (and keep the IAA sync disabled) by turning on the Send Sync in Auria, and choosing Auria in the sync settings in Loopy. Don't know the difference between the 2, but I heard there was an IAA sync and it seemed quite stable. The dev of Patterning said it doesn't have it, just midi sync, and I can't seem to sync that. DrumPerfect, which seems to have IAA sync, does a really good job. I would choose IAA every time, but I don't know what difference keeping it turned on it makes if your not using Loopy in IAA though.
