Small dumb still-a-n00b Auria Question...
I fear I have been spoiled by Gadget simplicity: Can't seem to figure out/remember how to duplicate a track in Auria. Not 'add a track', but duplicate, lock stock and effect barrels also etc. Please hit me up with the special stick (right between the eyes) if you can. Ta.

May not be possible.
Re: Duplicate tracks

Auria doesn't currently have a Duplicate Track feature. Sounds like what you're experiencing with only hearing the left side is a bug. I've added this to the list to investigate for the next update.
Thanks,
Rim
Yeah, it's currently a hassle, but doable. Hopefully Auria Pro solves the need for this workaround:
Save your channel strip settings as a preset
Save any plugins you may have running in their current state as a preset
Add a new track (mono or stereo as appropriate) and move it just below or above your current track in the editor window
Set the "Snap To" settings to "Cursor"
Snap the cursor to the beginning waveform for the original track
Select all the little soldier waveforms on that track and hit "copy"
Select the new track and hit paste
This should put everything in exactly the same location on the new track. Then you get to go in and hit your saved presets for your channel strip and plugins and voila! In some time at all you've got a duplicate track. It's THAT easy
The question isn't dumb. The lack of a "duplicate track" feature kinda is though. http://weww.auriaapp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=12684
Thank-you Gentlemen. Good news/bad news proposition then: "No, you're not mad, but, yes, the zombies are real..."
Always interesting when an object of some sophistication (not to say complexity) lacks a simple part or function. I had a girlfriend who decided to do without eyebrows ("to be different"), quite put me off, even though the rest of her was delicious.
Thanks again.
This has had me scratching my head as well. The other thing you can do is bounce the track, but then you either are recording the effects, or leaving them off. It's such a normal thing to want to do.
As ever, at this point, we await Pro.
