Best option for old music hardware
I have mentioned owning a Roland XP-50 Music Workstation, but since I haven't had any use for it in years I think maybe I'd like to find something worthwhile to do with it. With a little cleaning up & TLC it should work just fine. Any good ideas for its fate would be appreciated.

You could donate it to the had to sell all his hardware synths a few years back fruitbat fund? Lol
If you have no use for it, sell it.
Would work fine as a MIDI keyboard controller. It's also 16 part multi-timbral—without taxing your iPad—which could be pretty handy if you're interested in MIDI sequencing and still like the sounds.
I suspect if it's been unused for years that you're just over the sounds/operating system. I say sell it and get something that inspires you with the money. Looking at sold listings on the bay seems like you could get $400-$600 for it. Plenty of inspiring goodies to be had in that price range.
Plant stand?
Good site telling which controllers work with iPad (newest are not listed)

However the list is not chiseled in granite
Anything I'm not using gets sold to fund stuff I will use.
