Drum Session...... Just when you don't think
You could possibly, ever, not in this lifetime need another drum app......... I'm gonna get it. Sounds pretty good. I know he's been working on it for a long time. I've got some of the kits Derek made in Beatmaker 2, uploaded into Diode, and they sound great.
"DRUM SESSION" update: had a long talk with Hans from Blue Mangoo (ifretless apps) and Drum Session is looking and sounding amazing. This will change everything about iOS drums....not giving away much here...but we will soon be looking at beta testers and a release. Its been a few years but things are getting close...desktop software in your hands.. Finally. Features? Loads...no app does what this will. 10 drum kits you won't believe. Sounds even better than my tracks I've been using for the last few years...really excited. Stay tuned------Derek Buddemeyer

Wicked stuff!!! It will have to be a bit special, as there are loads of Drum app on IOS. It will have a lot of competition.
Yep I've had to limit my iPad to 27 drum apps now. If I want a new one....one has to go!
Really looking forward to this one. I have loads of the other drum apps, but feels like this could be "the one"

From Derek's past descriptions of this app it's going to be great for traditional drums, with drag and drop grooves, etc. I know I'll be checking it out immediately.

I have been waiting for this to become real ever since hearing of it. I am really looking forward to this level of a drum app for a long time. I can not wait to try it.

I was thinking more advanced then beatbuddy , from what I can tell it is more of the drag n drop format finally. Think of session drummer from cakewalk or perhaps even ez drummer ect.. How advanced is yet to be seen but if the sample tracks posted on soundcloud are any indication we are in for a drum app treat hopefully! Those were put together very quickly and it makes auditioning new patterns extremely easy also. I can not wait to see but alas I wait.

This is one of my favorite songs of Derek's. I love the piano/keys, mixed with the guitar. hmm.....So that is a little taste. sounds good to me.
