Z3TA+ Receiving Dissatisfactory Reviews on App Store?
Every once in a while I have an urge to purchase a new synth, and recently I've stumbled upon Z3TA+. I've read and watched reviews of the app and it is certainly quite impressive; but people on the App Store gave it 1 out of 5 in its most current version. I was wondering if anyone on iOS 8 or above own Z3TA+ and whether they are experiencing any problems?

I have Z3TA + on 8.4 and while I have not used it extensively, I have started to get to grips with it. Up to now, I have not found many problems. I have found the odd small bugs or idiosyncrasies, but nothing show stopping.
The reason I do not use it as much as some other synths, is that it almost has too much control for my personal taste. I often prefer more simple synthesis structures and then use lots of quality effect apps.
For the price it's a no brainer. Many synth apps have a few bugs here and there, but they are pretty cheap if they don't work out for you.
Yes it is a very nice sounding synth, I like it a lot it definitely is fun if you like tweaking and has a ton of great sounding presets. Nothing stands out as to why it got the low rating for me at least at least a four out of five or six and hardly think you would regret it.
Maybe people don't keep their ratings updated as updates roll out?
Seriously z3ta is a 5 star monster synth, one of the top iOS synths still, with literally thousands of free presets out there on the interwebs
5 stars. I just use presets, cuz it has as someone mentioned a lot of tweakable buttons and knobs.
I use iOS 8 and love Z3TA. There were some issues with no sound after an iOS update, I think that had a little to do with the one stars but was fixed shortly there after. It's one of those synths where it's 5 stars when it works but people will 1 star for attention. Trust the 5 stars. Although it's a PITA to load presets...
Can it load .sfz files?
It is a synth and not just a sample player.
I've always wanted a Z3TA but they never go on sale.
It can load single cyclic waveforms.

this was my first synth. I bought it because of its amazing features, esp. # of envelopes, lfos and oscillators. I found it difficult to use, small buttons, unexpected results when programming filters/lfos, the mod matrix. Ive had to watch a lot of tutorials to understand how it works, syntorial having the best ones. This isnt my go to synth but Ive always marvelled in its complexity and like to use it although sometimes it doesnt respond as I was expecting. This is the synth I aspire to make MY ultimate 303 patch
ive used it with virtual midi and coremidi, midilearning, external and internal sequencers. Ive had problems but none techical. Id give it a 5 star if it werent for the small buttons.
It's a very good app. Definitely worth getting.
This is my main LIVE synth. I use it exclusively at church for worship services. It sounds huge thru the mains and via the UCA222. It amazed the whole band of the powerful thick lushious deep sounds coming out of my iPad. I play it using the MOXF6 which hold my iPad nicely on top of its screen. Perfect fit!
Everyone on this forum seems to be praising Z3TA+, and a couple of you guys noted that even when the app malfunctions, it's only minor glitches. I'm convinced, I'll buy it ASAP
