  • Thanks for posting this even before I did.
Yes, we have a new contest and this time you can win 3 copies of Waldorf Nave VST-AU-AAX (worth $149).
Well, the synth is pretty cool, and we all know that from its iOS release. I find it handy to have it also as desktop plugin, so here's your chance :-)

    Good luck!

  • So how many of you are considering using this on your desktop?

  • I use it already on a mac OsX

I wouldn't buy it for the desktop because the iOS version is cheaper. Audio Bus works great at linking iPad and desktop audio.

  • I used the demo which expired for some days. I got a refund for the iOS version because they was not usable due to low ram crashes and unstability. On my notebook it runs perfect and of course using it in a DAW it gives you additional options like automation etc.
But i found it also compared to the iOS version too expensive to buy for 149€ since they are the same. I mean i payed more for other synths but there are no iOS versions ;)

An iPad pro with 4GB ram and a large screen would be tasty for Nave..... but......

  • Nave runs fine on my mini 2. I'm in for the plugin! Multiple instances!

  • I'm testing it, I'm loving it....and use every day in Logic :-)

If you go in the info you can read my name: Fabio Di Mauro....

  • @Sinapsya How does it compare to Alchemy?

  • Is the same as the iOS one...

Alchemy is another story, other type of synthesis, Alchemy have 5 types, Nave is only Wavetable...

Been considering it since it went live, same with the iOS PPG synths that went to desktop. Reputations are growing...but like some, I'm slower with vst purchases than I am when in the AppStore.

  • man i wish vst plugins were as affordable as ipad apps... The looperator demo is sooooo fun....

The most affordable is nlog synth - almost the same price. It's the only desktop au/vst synth I bought so far :))
