Hmmm....
I think I'II definitely wait on, on the iPad, possibly update on the iphone (?)
Nice Max Head Room FX in the video. Tho I am again showing my age...... :0
Blipvert's blow my mind, M-M-Max.
Excellent public service, Doug. I am totally with you on waiting until it's clear the upgrade won't destroy or seriously hamper one's music workflow. I follow this philosophy on my Mac as well.
Love it, especially the score and the Back To The Future 2 Pepsi glitches
I had to pause the vid to post quote of the day, which genuinely made me laugh for simply being true...
"I'm not for a couple of months 'cos like any major update to an operating system... It breaks stuff."
'Nuff said, right there!
I don't think its anywhere as as bad as iOS 8 was at the beginning, but I'm still hanging on a bit, oh and i made a mistake in my video, the iPad Pro has 4gb of RAM and not 2 as i stated, I'm not getting one of them either ;-)
It seems better, but the whole computer music world is going the same way. Win 10 now prevents you from doing more than just delaying updates. Which means stability is getting ever more difficult to obtain. It just takes one bad update and your whole music set up could be in trouble until it gets sorted. Years ago most studio problems could be fixed with a soldering iron, now we get the Gucci SW doing amazing things, but are at the mercy of the OS to keep things running smoothly.
lol Like the videoeffects. Did Jakob edit this?
I thought it was more a Beatles reference.
Ha, no it was done in VJay
iPad Air 2 iOS 9 played loads of music apps, synths, virtual MIDI, IAA, Cubasis so far just about everything working well. A few crackles in iPolysix, Attack is a no and waiting for AB update but no panics.
All good news so far
;-)
