iProphet not showing up on Audiobus?

Haven't played with this for a while but went to use it last night, and it's nowhere to be found on the Audiobus input list. Shows up as IAA on Auria.

I removed and re-installed iProphet, rebooted the IPad, and still no luck.
I have the latest Version Audiobus, and am running IOS 8.4 on a 128mb Air.

I'm curious if anyone else might be seeing this behavior.

On the list here, but had to open it, before it would launch. Mini2 on ios9.

  • I'm seeing the same thing.

  • Yep not here on iOS 4 Air 2, but still showing as IAA in AudioShare

  • Not showing in AB on my 8.3 Air 2 either, and launching it first didn't work.

  • Not in my list either, weird because thought I'd used it in audiobus recently, maybe because of the recent update?

  • It was showin up on my list, but wouldn't launch. Just kept saying "Launching", but was greyed out and had the "Zzzzz"'s going.

When I launched it first, it would then open from Audiobus.
    I'm in iOS 9, iPad Air 1

    Hi guys :)
I reported this a while ago, apparently it's a bug. I'm on iOS 8.3, ipad mini2. In the kind time, you can just load iProphet before Audiobus (only if u have a AB preset with iPropphet to load), or load it into an inta-app audio app, like MTDaw (which has state saving). All the best!

  • Just so I'm clear: it shows up in IOS 7, doesn't show up in iOS 8.3? Or does it just not show up in iOS 9?

Btw, we're looking into this, there are still some issues with app detection in iOS 9 but this should be resolved with the next update which we're going to submit this week.

  • iPad Air/iOS 9 : iProphet show up in the AB but needs to be launched before to work.

  • iProphet not showing up in AB under iOS 8.4. Just updated AB and still not showing. Just opened iProphet and then opened a state saving with iProphet included and it worked ok.

    Thanks @gdog

  • Not showing on my 8.3

  • I'm on 8.3 too and it's not showing either

Hi, I just tested again to make sure, when I tried to launch iProphet on my iPad mini1/ios7, it didn't do anything, stays asleep. Then when I reloaded AB, it wasn't there, so iProphet isn't working on ios7 either. I think it was listed before because I wasn't connected to the internet, whereas I was just now. Many thanks, & All the best!

Alright, I'm going to contact the Retronyms guys.

@Sebastian Using Audiobus 2.1.18 and iOS 8.4.1 and iProphet Build 17376. iProphet doesn't appear in Audiobus. I can only get it to appear in Audiobus by loading an Audiobus preset with iProphet. When I try to launch iProphet it goes to Safari, then the App Store. If I manually open iProphet it then opens in Audiobus and is playable with the audio going through the sound chain.

Yeah. We know. This is an issue with the Audiobus database. We're working on it.

  • @Sebastian -- not to make matters worse, but adding Protein Der Klang to this bug log. No matter what order I open the apps in, it's not showing up in any slot.

Is this still happening or is it fixed now?

    @Sebastian

iProphet shows up, but won't open unless it is opened first. So yes we can use it.

iPad Air2 ios9.01 latest updates to AB and iProphet

  • Doesn't even show up in the input section of AudioBus

  • is prophet actually needs an update as far as I know. But Retronyms are working on it. I was asking about Der Klang.

  • @Sebastian

Well whatever has happened, iProphet is now more usable on iOS 9 then it was before.

  • More than it was before? How so?

Before today, iProphet did not show up in AudioBus for me at all on iOS 9 with the latest AB. The only way I could get it used on AB was to open a previously made State saving that had iProphet included.

Now iProphet shows up and will open if it is already running, so no having to open the save and delete all the other apps.

  • Fixed on iOS 9, not fixed on iOS 8.4.1
But that might be the price I pay to keep my mini on older OS. Any hope of backwards fix?

  • I think Retronyms are still working on it. :/

  • oh, my post was about protein dk

    iProphet should show up now.

iProphet is currently showing and working fine in AB on iOS9 for me, I had not tried it in iOS 9 previously but I just wanted to provide Sebastian with some feedback.
