Buying from app store not possible....

I tried to buy a couple of apps and after i click on buy, put my password, it returns back to "buy" .
Price pops back up, as if nothing happened?
I bought Glitch 1 about 5 times before it finally downloaded...does it mean i was debited 5 times?

Anybody experienced something like this? Air 1 iOS 8.4

@Fruitbat1919, is suffering a similar problem he bought Thesys but can't download it, and he got a strange other apps not downloadable message, maybe a related problem.

@soundklinik, I doubt you'll be charged more than once, like IAP if you try to purchase what you already own it doesn't charge you, but strange things are happening with tha AppStore, so just check to make sure.

Had the same issue last night with a free app... took me 3 attempts before it finally DL'd.

Yes. And updating apps is a very slow process since yesterday.

Not only slow but app updates appearing after they have been updated, can't remember anything like it before, slow-down yes, that happens at a major update, but some of the other strange things, almost like bugs.

An after thought - wonder if this is due to security related fixes, due to Xcodeghost

Yep, I've got 23 updates sitting in my queue, and almost every update has already been done before. I'm waiting to see what happens. I remember this happening before though with the iOS 6 to iOS 7 conversion. It was straightened out after a few days.

I would assume that Apple have an algorithm to catch repeat purchases, or at least to not allow more then one app request to go through.

Maybe they're doing some major work on the server to clean out the hacked content.

I'm actually having iCloud backup issues. I will have to delete all back ups and start over as it says I can't backup due to too little space. Apple keeps turning items to be backed up on.

All those regurgitated updates have to be causing havoc on the server, it seems like a lot of apps are in a quasi state of authorisation (or existence).

Finally the download went OK, strange...

I wasnt sure if it is because of my WiFi repeater that I got a week ago...

Has there been a change to Newstand, cos a lot of 'app's' that belong there have fallen out? And the icons are black and totally unresponsive, but the old icons work and are still in Newstand.
Edit, I've put them in a folder but I can't delete them, they were just updated.

I've noticed a couple of slow periods downloading a couple of things, and had a DL just stop dead and had to start over. Fortunately I'm not in as deep as some of you are, so my problems have been minimal.

So iOS 9 has given me faster internet, better battery and smoother scrolling. It has also given me slooooooooow updates, multiple updates and a dodgy shop.....well maybe it's iOS 9 and maybe it's just Apple lol

I did have once or twice I got double charged(not recently)

I can say that the camera scan of ITunes card on 6+ not scanning till the 3rd time. Rejects, red, rejects, red, then reads code and freezes for 20 seconds and then approves(green)

Well first email through from Apple. Tried to download again. Said it would not charge me, but still failed to download.

I added it up once... oh dear... it shattered the illusion...

I had to buy a couple of apps afterwards, just to cheer myself up ...
