    let me rephrase the question
    so haptic feedback is mono input only or does it give different feedback to different inputs @ the same time?

  • One way it could be useful is for fidgity knobs. I often adjust a sample mark or BPM slider, etc., and it will change from the intended setting as a consequence of a slight lateral movement when I lift my finger. It'd be nice if you could press down firmly to lock in a setting, so when you lift your finger, it doesn't fluctuate.

  • some good old roland accent would be nice too, just press the loud steps harder ...

    Haptic feedback is not inherently tied to force sensing at all, that's just what Apple's apps happen to do.

    As for the Taptic Engine itself, it's just a more capable vibrator, but it's still just one piece of hardware inside the device, there's nothing spatial about it.

    That's a really good idea!

    +1 - the iMS20 is terrible for that, and some of the BPM sliders on other apps.

    Would be also useful if i could fine tune a parameter while press harder. I also hate it when i lift my finger off and the value jumps off again.... aaaarrrrrrgghhh!

    So while we talking about lift the finger off..... would it be useful for velocity off events too?

    +1 Too true. Great thinking there!

  • Is there a list kicking around of apps already using 3dtouch?

    Cheers
