New website with the latest iOS music headlines and sales - www.musicappnews.com
Hi all!
So, I have made a website - www.musicappnews.com
The basic idea is simple - how to keep an overview of the headlines from all the other websites that help us finding new apps, updates, give us tutorials, app sales and so? How about a website that acts like a ‘hub’ for all this? At this moment it servers the 5 latest headlines from sites like discchord, thesoundtestroom, palmsounds etc. 50 in total.
It also contain a app database that keeps track of which is on sale or not (marked icons). Once one of the apps is put on sale, it will be added to the sales-page among with a tweet from musicappnews on Twitter.
Well, I guess you will have to check out yourself. Hope you find it useful!
Cheers!

Looks like a nice resource. Thanks @tonappas!
Bookmarked thanks.
Very nice. Dont forget to add Patterning to Great Drum Apps.
Very useful. Thanks @tonappas
Looks like this will be another of my "Always Open" tabs..
:-)
Thx guys. Pattering added
Looks very useful, added to my daily reading list. Thanks!
@tonappas It looks like it will be a very cool resource! I have two suggestions if I may, that may help:
Over all, I think it will be a very useful site! A Hub for iOS news, as you say! Great work!
How about adding BeatHawk and SynthMaster?
Another source you could add to your hub page is: http://ipadmusic.com/
I look forward to seeing your hub grow! :-)
Very cool and very useful!
Nice idea - +1 for a cleaner background as mentioned above.
Additionally I miss
Synth: PPG Wavemapper, PPG Wavegenerator, TC 11, Nodebeat, Sunvox
Great drum machines: Elastic Drums, SeekBeats, MoDrum, DrumJam, Different Drummer, Diode-108
Midi: B-Step Pro 2, Genome, TC Data, Xynthesizr
Sample based: Samplr, Borderlands Granular
Utility: Audioshare,
...only to name a few
Many thanks for this great site. By using it, I finally found a review about the studio pack for BIAS FX on iOS-Mars. Bought it meanwhile, but still a nice read.
This is another great site, Jon-Morten is one of the hardest working people I know
All 20 apps added, @bsantoro & @RCM - Thanks
Great to read that you like it folks! Working on adding more headlines
Cheers
@Tonappas Great idea, and I agree with others that the background is too busy, especially for my old eyes.
I gotta say I love GuitarCapo+
One more vote for a clean, single color background...otherwise, yep, great to have a summary of topics across various sites!
@Jon Background looks much better, easier to read. Thanks.
Very useful, thank you
Several +1's to change the background changed it! Better?
I didn't see the previous background but I think this looks great. Good Job.
I like the look with just 5 links. It gets all the sites on one page without scrolling down and being as the image and text link me away to the sites anyway, its just one further click to check their homepage after.
Because I'm a pen and paper bigot, I always prefer black text on white for web sites. However just by cleaning up the background it made it much easier to read. Thanks!
@tonappas what a great site! Now I want to arrange my apps the way you've got your page arranged. I'm sure everybody will have their own opinion about which apps should be featured, the way you have it right now is awesome!
@NoiseHorse Thanks The arrangement is inspired by i.e. the 'Top App' section on musicappblog.com and tips after asking for advice here and there. It is not set 100% as I find it a little hard to make categories. It is a start The featured apps will rotate somehow, except one (#yesiwillpromoteguitarcapo)
Great job. I am a guitar player and don't usually use guitar apps but purchased guitar capo as a thank you! Great app been playing all afternoon.
Disabling zoom on websites makes them very difficult to use on mobile if your eyesight isn't great. The AudioBus forum is guilty here too. There is no need for it, it just makes life harder for some of us.
I'm able to zoom on AB forum.
Regarging zooming - a 'problem' making responsive design (making the site fit all devices (phone/tablet/desktop). On Desktop zooming is no problem. Can't promise anything, but will look into it for sure
I can zoom here too
Ahhhh, can't zoom on the App page
