Seline Redux

Love this app, but it has a few problems under ios9.01 on the iPad Air2. One of the problems is that the contact the Dav part of the app does not work.

The settings section where you change volume of the parts, does not work anymore, or the Arp slider.

Hope the Dev happens by this thread, or someone knows another way to contact them, as I so love this App, so so so much!

Updated today, some obvious fixes, but now I have to buy two of the keyboard styles apparently, though they're not listed in the store. Disappeared from the Appstore too, when I checked a few minutes ago. I wasn't a user of the app's previous incarnation, either, and don't have any sounds besides what I bought. Guess the IAP system has gone wonky but ai don't get why they would suddenly charge for the keyboard layout variations
  • hmm, I have not updated yet.  I didn't use the other keyboard designs much, but shame if they aren't included anymore.
  • I have been in touch with the Dev and he is aware of the problem. A fix should be forthcoming soon.

Any mention of what is going on with only getting one keyboard style? Somebody had to write that IAP pop-up, and I don't generally mind IAPs but we were already using all three keyboards...

Though maybe the issue is that it's mistaking who is a legacy owner and who isn't, which would be why I never got the pop-up before and shouldn't qualify for all-the-sounds..

From what I gathered with my conversations with the Dev, If you got the keyboards before, you will have them again after the fix is out.
  • I purchased this but can not find it in my list now and a search of iTunes came up with nothing?   Selina Redux?

Yeah it disappeared from the app store after it updated yesterday. Dunno how common that is but seems weird.
  • It's back now.

Hey guys, Eric here from Amidio/zCage. Sorry about the confusion with Seline. I had released an update to fix the iOS9.1 issues with the FX controls not working and update Audiobus SDK. That release had IAP issues as some of you had seen. Luckily for me, @Fruitbat1919 noticed this almost immediately and email me. After, some confusion on my part, I was able to figure this out. To prevent more users updating to the bad version (3.2.1) I remove Seline from the App Store. I was able to expedite the fix through Apple (THANKS APPLE!) and the new version (3.2.2) went out this morning.

I hope that everything is working well now, but there could still be issues. Please respond here or email me ([email protected]) if you see issues especially with IAPs or Keyboards. If we find issues soon, I may be able to get another update out under the same expedited request, otherwise it will take the normal 7-10 days.

Also, seems I should expand my test group, so also email ([email protected]) and let me know if you'd like to be a tester and get access to early releases of Amidio apps. The Audiobus users have been my best source of feedback. I hope that I'm moving things in the right direction. I follow-up with another posting about the state of the Amidio/zCage business.

    Eric
  • Thanks Eric.  Still one of my favorites, along with Synthmaster.  The sounds are very good.
  • Thanks Eric. Have given SR a good testing playing through effects in AudioBus - check.
    SR through AudioShare - Check.
SR in Auris version 2 - Check.

    no problems so far :)

    Eric

I had removed Seline a while ago for space issues (my problem not yours :), but also because one of my criteria for deletion is whether the developer seems to still be taking an interest, so I am happy to hear you are indeed still engaged with this project. Will re-install today :) Look forward to hearing from you as regards your other work.
  • @JohnnyGoodyear - If you were an original Seline user (pre-Redux), that App updates to the Redux Pro version. Quite a good deal (I think), as you get all the sounds included, but I do ask for $3 to get the new Keyboards. If you don't know the Amidio history (I should post the to my blog), I acquired Amidio last Fall. I have gone through all the active apps, but really spent time on Seline and tried to really fix it up (FX, MIDI, Audiobus, file manager, sound library, ...). It is my premier App.

Seline now comes in 2 versions:
    • Redux-Pro: $20 all sounds included, and keyboards included for new buyers
    • Redux: $2 many included sounds, all 3 keyboards, completely functional, optional IAPs for more sounds
    Eric
  • I don't know why this thing sounds so good to me but it does. It seems all fixed for me, the 3 keyboards are accessible again.
