iOS murders Blackbird (?)
Always bit risky doing Beatles cover.
Have not posted any music for a while. This was done with Beatmaker2, iSem, iGrand, Altispace. Hope it is non-murderous to your ears.

If I had any criticism it would be the percussion. I find the kick to be a bit heavy handed, but that's just a taste thing. It threw me off at the start. I also wish you had held the third note for four beats instead of three before starting in with the vocals. Lovely rendition, though. Great synth sounds and awesome video.

Greenie, such a patronising post. My own comments were not amiable platitudes but my true heartfelt opinions. I enjoyed the track. You have your opinions but that doesn't mean you can dismiss others.

I love the arrangement and vocals as well, but I agree about the percussion. If you need percussion at all something much more subtle and mixed further back would fit better I think. Just my opinion of course. The synth work is fantastic, very unusual use of somewhat rough sounds to not sound rough at all in context.
And taking on any Beatles is brave, this sounds like it belongs. For me, I would listen many more times with more subtle drums (or none). I'm still going to listen again!

there could be some subtle fine tuning in some aspects production wise, but then it would probably have to change the platform and the actors, but it's working pretty well as it now is I'd say

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. I may try and tone down the drums (I already did once but maybe not enough), may even try a version taking beat out.
@Greenie your comment made me laugh, I was not concerned I had murdered it so much as it was a cheap clickbait subject line rather than just posting "Hey listen to my cover version". Do appreciate the opinions though. Respect for your honesty but agree with @AndyE that you are dissing other people's opinions a bit by calling them amiable platitudes. Knew it would not be everyone's cup of tea.
I look forward to hearing a version with toned down drums, I really like everything else in it and the drums distracted me from just enjoying those elements. It's a really cool arrangement though, I've listened a few times already.
