  • Was waiting for your demo on this one Doug. I had no idea what it did before. Bonkers enough to be an insta-buy. Works nicely on iPhone under iOS 9 as well.

  • Yeah it's growing on me this one.

  • I found it a bit confusing at first but after about 30 minutes I thought "oh yeah, I get it, this is really clever" And it has an absolute stack of samples in their too

  • Also nice that the Dev has been on here and stated that development is continuing. I hope it is a successful app, because I could see this being a fantastic loop sketch pad with a few tweaks.

    NO MIDI???

  • It has AB. It has IAA. Not tried midi yet.

  • It crashes for me on launch, ipad air, ios 8.4. I've tried rebooting, erase/reinstall, didn't work.

  • The jump from iOS8.4 to iOS8.4.1 is 'harmless'.
I live on the bleeding edge (apart from iOS betas) and it works fine under iOS9.0.2.

Midi will come later, since each pad can have multiple slices it's going to be 'interesting' to see how the multiple slices will be handled over midi. I think first step will be midi start & stop.

Personally I use FingerBeat as a sketchpad for recording sounds and creating loops to be used with other apps just the way I used my Korg Electribe ES-1, it was never hooked to anything even though it had midi :)

    Sweet! Thanks for the correction!
The app page under the What's new updates does say "Supports Audiobus & Audiobus Remote" but their website and user manual (http://fingerbeat.com/help/fingerbeat_guide.pdf) makes no mention of it or IAA.

Does it support IAA Sync at least?
Please do let us know if you get a chance to test MIDI sync of some sort.
