iConnectMIDI4+ iOS 9 - some good news

Hi all,

I had occasion to test my recently purchased mini 2 (bought to sacrifice to iOS 9) with the iCM4+ today.

As noted elsewhere, if the iPad is set to be the master audio clock in iConfig in the Audio Info. pane it works well.

(But, no, currently you cannot use two iOS 9 devices or an iOS 9 device + El Capitan :-( - a problem that Apple have created for iC because of the requirement apparently that either iOS9 or El Capitan be the clock master).

What also works well still is that it can continue to be used as an outboard FX device.

I have tested that with my normal setup.

Microbrute -> another interface aggregated with the iCM2+, iCM4+ and several others.

-> Mac running Mountain Lion running S1 Pro 3.

-> Mono track bussed into stereo track

-> S1 Pro's Pipeline Stereo -> out

-> iCM4+ -> iPad running iOS 9.0.2 (clock source for iCM4+) and all apps up-to-date.

-> Audiobus in -> Crystalline in FX slot -> Audiobus out

-> iCM4+

-> Pipeline Stereo in -> Audio out in S1 Pro.

All working fine.
