... and if you've already spent 6 € on Session Band apps, you get the whole bundle for free
why the sale, is a new version coming out or are they closing doors?
They go on sale every other month or so and have been doing so for years. Sometimes it does coincide with the release of a new one.
I already have Piano, Acoustic, Jazz and Rock, and the Bundle shows the 10 pack only 5,99€ regular price, and in my case, 2,43€ the other six apps.
I had a few of them but didn't get it and returned them, they advertise being able to tweak them but it didn't seem like allot of tweak ability to me. I thought I would sample and mangle them but there didn't seem like there was much there, I had a couple of the jazz ones, what is your impression of them?
the reason I ask is because they were the first sample packs I've bought and I might have been a little rushed and biased.
I missed the Drums sale last time, so €0,99 is okay, even as "drum sketchbook".
Despite the huge sale, I don't like the other styles too much (Country, EDM...).
It's a drum sketchbook as long as you don't change the tempo at all. Move it even 1bpm and they're a mess. I can't figure this company out,59 cents now, 99 cents sometimes, $7 each sometimes. Makes positive grid and IK seen downright stable...
But, theorically, you can copy and paste and, the, export to MIDI, change the tempo and done. Or not?
Of course, importing MIDI into DrumPerfect, etc.
No midi files . That is why they take up so much space. I wish they could do this but with midi instead of audio samples. I also think it is the reason most of us bought them and later deleted to save space for something useful.
exactly, though I can see the use in them and tried sketching out some songs in some of them, which worked quite well (though quite a few needed chords been missed), they are all around 600 MB up to 7something, that's definetely too much if you have a whole bunch of them and a small unit
I have an enormous unit and it's still too much, although I will whip one out on occasion when the time feels right. Less and less these days as I seem to choose Tin Pan for that kind of hot sketching action...
Hey Johnny B Goode!
They are great sample fodder for Samplr, Egoist, gadget etc
Schtum Captain! Don't tell them about how we talk normal things from there and feed them into the Egoist machine etc.
Never mind they show downloading now.
It has both the audio file export and a midi version of the audio phrases. At least the drums app does. I'm sure the others either have or will have this soon. I also am waiting for the tempo change bug to be fixed. Then they will be more useful.
