(offTopic) Who needs 32 knobs for their iSoftsynth
UK-based Knobtronix has introduced the Knobbee 32 – a new open-firmware, Arduino-based MIDI-controller.
The KNOBBEE 32 is built with having tinkers and hackers in mind. You can modify the Open Source firmware or even create your own.

It says on the page that :
“The production version will have a MINI-USB connector with through-hole mounting poles. This means that the connector will be more reliable and secure than the current MICRO-USB connector.”
This is ridiculous. A micro-USB connector is rated for 10000 insertions, the mini-USB was only rated for 5000 insertion cycles, and that’s even in its improved form. So, if they do what they plan, there, they’re going backwards.
