I like Xenon as well. The only thing that ALWAYS frustrates me when I revisit is my inability to record into the sequencer directly from the particular keyboard/track I'm using. I'm always sure there must be some way other than inputting my little blocks into the sequencer/piano roll by hand but I can never figure it out and then, after an hour, I wander off again for another six months.
And yeah, automation of the mix/effects would be nice, but my inability to 'play live' puts me right off.
