Nothing will play with AudioBus today [solved]
On iPhone 6S with latest updates of everything I put in the input slot ends up with error label. Have tried rebooting, having AB launch the apps or launching the apps first. In the words of Catweazle, 'Nothing works!'
Anything else I can try to get away from this dilemna?

I just tried Audiobus with my iPhone 6 Plus, and didn't experience any problems. Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the apps that are giving you problems (including Audiobus)?
Ok so I deleted audiobus and one of the apps that I had tried (orphinio), rebooted, reinstalled them both. Have tried launching every which way with other apps same error label. And orphinio no longer appears in the list of apps. Think I will leave what I was trying to do and go back to SunVox.
Maybe it will work tomorrow..
On 6S and 6S Plus you need to use plug-in headphones for Audiobus to work. Watch the frames label in upper right corner of AB change when you plug in the headphones.
Aw man! Is that a known defect in AudioBus? Only happened because I was being too lazy to get my headphones from upstairs. Weird that it is only AudioBus affected.
Thanks for this answer. Made my day.
It is an issue with the iPhone 6S and 6S plus. The built-in speaker/mic sticks the device in 48kHz sample rate only and causes minor mayhem with certain apps. Sure hope Apple fixes this one, it's been reported to them in their bug tracking system multiple times (since my report was marked as duplicate).
Thanks for the background info @sonosaurus. The built in speaker on an iPhone is pretty weak anyway so it shouldn't be a problem when listening with proper audio devices.
