mic and guitar?
does anyone know if AudioBus multi-route allows you to record with an external microphone plugged into the headphone output (plug 4-way), even if connected to the Lightning? I'm no mixer and want to record guitar and vocals on stereo separate channels simultaneously. use a UCA-222 audio interface and a MIDI controller connected to a USB hub. Thanks
Comments
Not getting any output through the audio interface, only through the mic's monitor headphone out.
Ok, thanks. I thought it was possible.
Maybe you could take an iphone with the mic to get audio in per a stereo cable through the uca's line in?
Do you have two stereo microphones you're trying to use? Is there a particular reason you want to record both mic and guitar in stereo?
Yes friend. the guitar is connected to a gr-55 Roland who sends stereo effects. why not solve connect them in separate L and R channels
you may need a multichannel usb audio interface with at least 4 inputs or more

ok, but this value and already having a UCA-222 and a USB hub, offset more buy a mixer with USB output, for sending the guitar by Behringer and include table what you wish. or am I mistaken?
Link is to a midi box.
@ronaldobc
I would go for a cheap simple mixer.
And your microphones, they are for ipad headphone jack, or normal xlr?
Xlr normal. (Samson)
Xlr are those wirh three pins (:•)
Those fit into a mixing console. You could put the guitar's jack (l) on a channel and via aux to the effect, and back in the next stereo channel; 2 mics, guitar/wet - 4 channels (3 mono, 1 stereo). Overall output from the mixer through your interface into ipad, ipad's output from the interface's audio out/headphone to a sound system.
yes, maybe this
or this
