Apps are like marbles, you can't have too many!

    Agreed, I keep losing mine!

    Found mine!

  • I've reached an age where I don't really spend much money on myself - clothes are cheap and functional, and I have too many books and CD's already, so buying a synth app on a Friday night is my little treat. Sure there are disappointments, but generally if I've had a couple if hours of fun mucking about and exploring some noises, then I've had my money's worth.

About 15 years ago I was looking to invest in some serious synth and recording hardware - and made a list if potential purchases that easily added up to tens of thousands of quids. Losing my job and partner at the time meant I never got around to it, but glad I didn't. I can now download the latest synthy goodness for the price of a pint or three. Can't complain really (though obviously I do).

  • Many...

I just ran out of battery-juice while noodling around with midiSTEPs, iMini, iSem, iProphet and Boom! 808, those apps running at the same time tax the iPad Air 2 battery pretty hard.

Still I'd love to see more proper re-creations of classic hardware on the iOS and naturally some new stuff too :)

I'm using synths played through ApeFilter a lot at this time. Would love to see Devs getting more creative with synth layouts. There is so much more to explore, especially as far as signal flow.

At the moment, I think of My iPad as one instrument with many possibilities.

All of this and everything else. +1
