Auria waveform vertical zoom not working
Ok - against many sage recommendations from this forum for Cubasis, I've decided to get Auria. The half-Cubasis price didn't hurt either... :-)
Also - there were a fair amount of negative comments in the App store - but I figured those glitches would get worked out...
For my first go-around, I can't seem to reduce the waveform/editor display. It responds very smoothly to HORIZONTAL pinches, but I'm getting no response to VERTICAL pinches to reduce the height of the various tracks. According to all vids and tuts I've watched you should just be able to 'do it' - no special settings...
Is this a known current 'issue' or have I missed something?

I think it depends how many tracks you have, if you only have a couple then they will fill the screen and you can't shrink them, once you have 8-10 you should be able to zoom in and out pretty easily.
It's pretty clunky at the best of times - the screen often goes blank when I zoom/scroll, or it throws me off to the end if the track. I can usually zoom in and out eventually though.
@seachord which iPad are you on? Auria works differently on different iPads.
At first I was always trying to zoom pinching the left area, where the track names are, which of course, doesn't work!
Ok - it (again) was a noob-thing. As @richardyot said, it has to do with the number of tracks. I only had 2 as I'm just feeling the app out. After adding a few more blank tracks, they all were resized to fit the screen, and resizing with the pinch began to work.
As a programmer, I sorta question the "auto-adjusting" feature. It's like Auria is being helpful without telling you. A (I guess convenient thing) but makes for a slightly inconsistent interface - confusing noobs such as i.
