kind of a miracle machine...

imho, this does everything the iPad and iOS music apps could do but aren't able to -- likely due to Apple's limitations of running coding environments. I've wanted to run Pd on an iPad for a long time now -- there's a non-public facing build and there are environment apps that allow you to choppily run graphic-based Pd programs, but nothing that brings together an adaptable and musician friendly GUI with the power of musical code.
this is based pretty much on the power of an Arduino, which pales in comparison to the power of any recent iPad.
am I missing something, or is there nothing quite like this in our iOS world outside of Sunvox? I guess there couldn't be if Pd isn't able to run in iOS. can you imagine the possibilities if it did? if you could build an instrument with light coding and then create an interface that makes sense for performance all in the same go?
it's embarrassing, but I'm foaming at the mouth a bit at this hardware.

Interesting bit of hardware. Thanx for the links.
Saw it in this clip from YouTube. Modular heaven (or hell) in Brooklyn;)
I wish I understood Pure Data programming because this sounds like a pretty serious machine.
What about MobMuPlat?: http://www.mobmuplat.com/
UGH. @shortbus, you've saved the day. 100% brilliant call.
ZMors modular has Pd module...and there's textsound for iPad, or there was...
As a fellow iPad owner, I could see Organelle being a useful addition to one's rig - load it up with whatever Pure Data patch you want and use the iPad to run something else.
Anyway, apparently textsound will let you edit Pure Data patches on your iPad. Anyone try that?'
I too missed the update about Zmors adding a Pure Data module. Awesome!
