iM1 Saving Combi...tried everything!
Guys, I almost had I with this app. I made a nice combo and when I try to save it no matter which steps I follow, it never gets written to the library card. Can some one for the life of me , please write a dead simple step by step instructions?
I went on YouTube, forum, google and no one has a clear step by step instructions. Even the manual is messed up the instructions dont make any sense.
I would really love to save my custom Combis to play live at church.
Thanks in advance!

When you write to the card do you get to the name input box, if so do not press write a second time or enter on the keyboard, after you enter a name, but instead on the keyboard, press the remove keyboard on the bottom right, the name and preset should be stored, in library or user cards. It's not the most logical save option.
IT IS NOT THE MOST LOGICAL SAVE OPTION....because even when you (me) finally figure it out , a week or two later it's lack of intuitive logic leads to a forgetting of how the hell you (me) did it in the first place....
Of all the wonders Korg have created down the years, this save option is not a shining moment, to save, dismiss the keyboard, intuitive not, who'd have thunk it?
Yes. this irritates me too, I get it, then forget it. Then repeat.
It's like Korg want it to be as authentically irritating as the original menus in 80s synths. That's not the point of ipad synths at all.....
In part I think it is cumbersome to maintain compatibility with the original hardware and the desktop emulation, but the save procedure, doesn't even compare to the original hardware not unless you had to dismiss the keyboard on that, by switching it off?, throwing it across the room?, telling it 'it's been very naughty for not saving my patch'? Mmmm...
I found two issues: one, the manual does not describe the current process, and two, the current process is broken.
1: tap on Write in the card view
2: select the target card
3: double tap the target slot
4: enter the new name
5: press return
6: tap Write again to deselect the mode.
The broken bit is step 5. Enter is ignored. you have to a) be using the screen keyboard, not a BT keyboard, and b) close the keyboard with its close button on the bottom right.
Thank you guys finally figured it out!
Had my blue tooth keyboard enabled so the onscreen keyboard never comes up, until I turned it off and voila! Combo now saved!
Thanks so much to all who responded!
I am completely blown away!!
Haven't been able to stop creating custom combis now. I just wish there was a way to set a global level for all combis.
Either way it is amazing!
