Gets to plug his amps I guess. Those are his right?
No idea, I started to watch in order to understand more the effects of effect order (ha!) on synth sounds, and I found it very informative. There's a nugget in there about "sound-scaping" using the stereo field as the "horizontal" and EQ as the "vertical" that was particularly illuminating.
