Great video as always, Doug.
ToneStack is great for guitars, but I also love using the effects for synths as well. The EchoRex and Cosmic Delay are great for this, and I'm sure the U-Turn reverse delay will be abused by me as well.
Oh yeah, brilliant for all me thinks, I also love easy it is to us the IAA stuff too, I like the it sits in the rack like an effect, just an all round well designed app
I use Tonestack for synths too. Some fun filters and you can mix them via two routes and then spread the stereo.
I'm seriously thinking about Tonestack and plugging in the iRig Mic HD and pretend I'm Michael Winslow
Watch this video if you're wondering what "guitar pedals" can do for synths.
Thank you Doug, I will watch this as soon as I get a chance. And I do agree guitar FX can do quite a bit for a keyboard/synth (just consider Jon Lord, a brilliant example) ... But ... Can all the synth heads please let us metalheads have just one day to celebrate?
Just one? Please? No talk of patch design, no midi, just sweet sounds on a six-string **
** He said facetiously
I promise no synthesisers were used in the making of this video
LOL! You sir, are indeed a scholar and a gentleman And really, you shouldn't sell yourself so short as a guitarist (or bassist, for that matter) - you play better and more cleanly than some guitarists I've gigged with. I can say that with confidence because AFAIK no guitarists I've ever gigged with are on this forum
