Elaborate my liege?
Well imagine you could set up your own loops and samples and use this engine to play them, or it has a drum machine and a synth or two built right along with some nice effects, this is iOS at its essence, like TC11, Thicket and many many more, the engine is obviously there it just needs to be opened up to everyone, this could be huge, and it's sch a stress reliever too
oh ok, yes I've been trying to get the devs to imagine this for months, they are cool folks but I don't think I got far. The problem is when people like these guys or the ninjajam guys don't allow you to import samples it's not because they don't get it these guys need no convincing cause they know better than most. Hermutt Lobby would be saying the same thing if playground was developed by somebody else that's the root of their whole existence, unfortunately we are not invited along for the ride, at least not yet.

I wasn't under the impression that the two apps were the same thing.
Not exactly the same beat surfing you have to create your own interface but you can trigger Ableton live , iPad apps vsti and hardware.
thanks for the suggestion Htp, beat surfing isn't really the kind of thing we are talking about here but it's certainly an alternative for folks interested in controllers.
it says in the FAQ that a pro version is under development in time.
