Where would we be without iOS music?
My latest iPad only creation made using around 10 different apps. So how much of our creativity is iOS responsible for? Just a thought.

Cool track
I would not be able to make music without iOS. All my old hardware is just that, some of it doesn't work anymore, and I needed a phone. Not to mention coming into it just as Audiobus was making waves. I couldn't be more pleased.
But it's only a tool - some apps do some amazing things but they still need a human to use them.
Making music without iOS :-)
I'd be making a lot less of it, I can tell you that. The ability to turn out stuff wherever and whenever, without fidgity track-pad navigating has boosted my productivity ten-fold.

I'm not a synth/generated music guy. It's great for the kind of stuff most people do on this forum. For those of us mostly doing audio recording, it's convenient, and inexpensive. Those are great. But I'd probably have bit the bullet and spent some $$$ on PC/Mac software and hardware by now.
I'd still be on the PC/Mac. Better quality, but being able to sit downstairs with an iPad makes it easier to fit in 30 mins noodling sessions.
I had saved a few thousands bucks
.... because with an iPhone 4, NanoStudio and ThumbJam it started all and build up to a MacBook Pro with plug-ins. I never had bought all that stuff otherwise...
But at least i still do mobile music since a notebook fits in there too!
About 20 to 30 % at present. Hopefully, that will increase over time.
There's so much room for developing a unique workflow w/ an iPad. Certain restrictions that once seemed like obstacles on the path to creation have obliged me to reconsider tactics. Now, I find that I've developed certain habits that all align perfectly in arriving at some really innovative sounds. Live audio tracking is still part of the process, but it's got a very specific place in my timeline.
I'll never go back.
I was making music long before i go an iPad but the quality of the apps is excellent and has definitely enhanced my creative output.
I would be hating my commute rather than looking forward to it.
PS. I dig the track, gave me a 242 Neurobashing vibe. 8)
I'd be on the pig skin bongos jamming with Supadom
