Use original BeatStep with BIAS FX?
I'm thinking about buying an original Arturia BeatStep to use both with my hardware synths and as a MIDI controller for some iOS synths. As I was thinking about it, I wondered if I would be able to use the BeatStep to also control the four banks in BIAS FX or Jam Up Pro as a footswitch? I don't see why not, but was wondering if anyone else had tried this?

I should probably elaborate and state that I would intend to use this as a footswitch in the comfort of my own home, and not on some beer-soaked bar room floor.
I have one and while I haven't tried it on those apps I'm not sure why it wouldn't work as long as Bias lets you cc program changes... Why not look at one of the Keith Mc things that are designed to be stepped on maybe...
The Beatstep is a great controller for my phone iOS apps...
Thanks for the reply. I'm looking to use the BeatStep as a sequencer for my MS-20 Mini, and then as an afterthought I considered whether it would work as a foot pedal. It should, the more I think about it. BIAS has MIDI implementation for other footswitches, and this would just be a simple "on/off" send.
