ScaleGen for free if you have Gestrument
Happened to check out my wishlist, which I don't use that much, and saw ScaleGen there for $4.99. Seemed to remember it being more, sure enough the description says Halloween sale. Checked the Gestrument bundle price, since I already own Gestrument, and it said Free!
Considering it's now into Novemember, may want to snag this if you have Gestrument.

Good sleuthing Lieutenant. Except the deal may have passed as the bundle price offered to me is $7.99 (and I am a Gestrument owner...). All very odd as I can buy ScaleGen for $4.99. Bundle pricing/execution is largely a mystery to me.
Pretty sure $7.99 was the bundle price before this for me too.
One thing I did was download through iTunes, which is something I never do. Maybe try that?
Could also be that the bundle deal simply ended or was changed.
hmmm I won gestrument but it's telling me $2.00
This app is far cooler than I thought. For some reason I had in mind that it was mainly to be used with Gestrument, but it also let's you export midi files, which I sent to Cubasis very easily. The big bonus though: Can be used as a midi controller because it has midi send, something I was not expecting. So basically you can set up a massive custom midi controller.

Man, this is a really well thought out app. Would have been pleased with it at full price. Best parts are the different scale generators, and then the different ways you can play it. You can set it up like a custom keyboard, but also treat it like playing a melody along a timeline, where you get to control the timing. In that regard it sort of reminds me of Fugue Machine without the sequencer. Add in very useful editing and this here app is a gem.
Thumbjam will import the scale files, too. And yes I also got Scalegen free as the discounted bundle price was the same as buying Gestrument outright, which I had already done.
I have gestrument and it says 9.99 fer scale gen for me.
I think it was a short-term halloween sale.
The sale is still on, not sure why the bundle pricing is all over the place.
