iPad Air 2 choke
Chain 1: iSEM -> Loopy
Chain 2: Thor -> Loopy
This works fine. Controlled via Akai MPK 249 through Apogee Duet, awesome.
As soon as I add Bias amps, (with every kind of troubleshooting workaround, various order of opening apps, etc), choke, crash, fart. iPad Air 2, 9.1, all updated.

I have found problems with Bias Amp. I think it's the app, not the iPads ability to run the apps.
Double post
I just figure Bias amps is too resource heavy, hardware chokes out. Works with tonestack, but really, bias sounds better (at least being a guitar player, to me it sounds better.
I voted for Ipad pro, but I think I should have said no...
With an Ipad Air 2, I would expect to run smoothly this with 2 synths, 1 looper, and 2/3 effects.
I also hope it should be the case without Bias.
I have an Ipad 4 and I can make run perfectly Audiobus + Module + Sector + Launchkey.
I must say Sector is crazy stable, fast and low CPU consuming, I would recommend looking at the effects produced by this guy ! (sugarbytes also are great)
ALSO : put in plane mode, use Memory & Disk Scanner Pro to check.
@CJ_Stout I'm not totally clear on your attempted routing, so I may not have tried exactly the same as you, but I just used iSEM, Thor and Bias Amps into Loopy HD across three Audiobus pipelines and it all worked smoothly. Air 2, iOS 8.4.1.
Vecoto, you are correct - 3 pipelines: iSEM to Loopy, Thor to Loopy, and Bias amps to Loopy.
Bias amps V1.5.12 won't even open in stand alone, nor in AB (2.1.20 (3))
I have the same versions of those apps as you. Just the iOS version and additional hardware that are different. Have you tried running the same setup without the midi and audio hardware connected; just iPad and headphones? If that still doesn't work, it would suggest an issue with iOS 9.1 and that combination of apps, I guess.
Edit: could be worthwhile reinstalling Bias Amps since it's currently not running well for you.
