  • Cool video. I've been enjoying using it in MTS. Thanks Doug.

I think the crossover determines the point in the frequency that divides low and middle. Defaulting in the middle I guess. But I might be wrong.

I'd be interested in some more experienced opinions on how it sounds quality wise.

I like the fact it's fairly easy to control and get the basics out of.

  • I think it's a great Reverb and yeah I think your right about the crossover, this would be very handy in Cubasis

  • Cool. Next step is to figure out how many instances I can run in MTS before smoke starts coming out of the headphone socket :).

  • While I do not own MTS, it certainly is nice to see AU in action. The 42 second reverb on the snare hit in the video reminded me of the last chord in "A Day in the Life". A quick Google informs me that the length of that piano chord was 42 seconds long. Coincidence?

Don't want to be nitpicking here but the first AU was Remaster

    ;-)

  • Does make me think that one day I must purchase MTS

  • Me too. I wonder if a unfamiliar DAW would make me create different songs?

  • Just wait. Apple wants AU( I think they have a master plan...... But , it's taken a hell of a time to nurture)in our beloved iPads. It'll happen. All the the pro Devs will make it adaptable. New or existing. I think after iPad Pro 2, there plan will come into fruition. Like Microsoft with Surface Pro, they want to take people away from the Desktop & PC. Apple may want this with the iPad. There more revenue to be made in app software, than there is in hardware. but the time that has happen we maybe on our 3, or 4 th iPad in years to come( if we don't cross over to the other side?) Now that Microsoft are stopping Pirate software in Windows 10( to do with the Privicy Policy. Torrents site are slow,y blocking out Window 10 users).

  • I think AU will be a great thing. I really think we are standing on ground zero.

You could be right. I remember people slating PC music software prior to VST. It sorta feels like some things are coming together with Au and Link.

  • Big thumbs up for MTS.

I've just recently bought it. So far there's not much not to like (on my Air2).

    • solid and reliable

    • iaa, AB, midi all works consistently (although occasionally the order you open apps in matters)

    • AUs

    • great automation editing

    • in built SoundFont player - so you could do a lot 'in the box'

    • pretty efficient on resources I think

    • etc etc etc

  • @Crabman I know about Remaster but that is an app in its own right, I mean this is the first standalone AU plug in for iOS
