Music IO ?
Ok so had a go running this with a friend last night. We were on two ipads going into Ableton with Live as the master. Have to say currently unimpressed with the performance.
The sync between my ipad 3 (ios 8.4.1) and my friend's air, (9.1) both running Patterning, was a whole 1/16th out. Any time you touched the screen of either ipad the audio would miss a beat or slow down or generally go wonky.
Every so often one or other of the ipads would disappear completely from the mix necessitating a reboot of Music IO and Patterning. With no set up / routing presets this quickly became a pain.
Anyone else having better luck ?
I know Link is coming but this would be such a nice easy way to get audio from multiple devices streaming into Live ......
