  • I downloaded Rhythm Pad, played with for twenty minutes and deleted it. Didn't cost me anything (other than the 20 minutes) so I'm not complaining. I got DM1 free during a promotion like this one and I was hoping it would be as good. No such luck.

  • RE: Midi Studio - but note that everything is an iAP. ; - )

Stealth pricing is undesirable - straightforward is better.

  • @MrNemuzi ..I do that with a ton of apps, the cool thing is, if it continues being developed into a great product, then you can redownload and never cost ya a thing

  • Hey all, I'm glad you are discussing about Rhythm Pad. We are the developers of this app and believe me, we're putting a lot into this. We have big updates planned. Let me know if you would like to see any particular features.

  • @jsplashapps Welcome to the forum. Can you give us a run down of your planned updates? From there we can add any other features we desire. Thank you.

  • Even without the IAPs, MidiStudio is pretty useful with the controllers it does have. I use it with apps that don't have keyboard hold (wavemapper, addictive synth, etc.) It looks great, the guy obviously put some effort into the interface.

  • Trouble with MIDI Studio is it is 500 MB. I found that TB Midi Stuff has similar functionality, and is only 70 MB.This is significant for Audiobus needs - more space for synths. Also more room on the iPhone. Not quite as pretty, but includes full editing etc.

  • Free again for now...

  • I tried it out. Can't complain about the price, and the sounds are good enough if you don't have any other options, but I'll be deleting it. At least the sounds are more like a traditional rock drum kit, as opposed to the usual dozen versions of an 808.
