iPhone sample chopping and time stretching
I want to be able to chop up samples, time stretch, and play back them is a sequence.
I have beatmaker 2 , but it is very tedious getting samples in and out. I'm looking for something much quicker.
something similar to the new Simpler update in abelton live.
Are there any iPhone apps that can do this currently?

Not sure about chopping, but check it out Sample Lab, by Listen Sound LLC
SampleLab .. This app seems to have been abandoned/forgotten. Nice little app - Oddly enough, I was just using it two days ago cause I wanted to pitch down a bassline - but unfortunately loops need to be less than 3 seconds long in order for that feature to work.
@eross a lot of people like TwistedWave Audio Editor for chopping up samples and time stretching.
@Paul hmmm never heard of that one. I'll have to give it a try. thanks
I did'n know TwistedWave. Thanks, @Paul.
reforge might be worth a look too.

wow twisted wave is like 10 bucks and it doesn't have an audio slicer ?
So checkout ferrite recording studio (free?) by wooji.
Using the strip silence feature as a poor mans transient detection. I don't know how well this would work in a busy sonic frequency filled track.
Sounds useful as a noise gate too.
Looks interesting, especially if you use a lot of field recordings. But the IAP are $$$. Will report back.
