AudioCopy in iOS9
Is anyone else experiencing issues with Audiocopy and iOS 9.1
I am having more and more difficulty with apps 'pretending' to copy, but when I go to paste there are no sounds in the folder for the app I am copying audio from.
Am I missing something ? Is this a known issue ?

Yes I am certainly having issues with it- in fact I am doing all I can to abandon it- and going via Audioshare and Dropbox instead. For example Korg Gadget does exactly as you say- the icon appears- but no sounds. I had contacted Retronyms- apparently this particular case is to do with how Korg allow the sounds to be copied not being appropriate- or something like that. But yes Audicopy is fast becoming a pain.
Not working with Gadget for me either, am using audioshare instead.
Deleted it months ago & haven't missed it one bit.
Glad to hear it's not just me.
How well does audioshare work with the older Korg apps - iElectribe, iMS-20 ?
Contacted Retronyms and got directed to this

I did do this at the time of the update, what I am experiencing is that the notifications do not appear as either banners or alerts even if selected to do so, which means I totally forgot about having to acknowledge the notification..
I can only see them in the notification centre, meaning after selecting audiocopy, I have to go back to home screen, drag down from top to get to notification centre, acknowledge the notification, and then the audio is successfully copied.
This only works if app have been updated to the latest AudioCopy SDK, which unfortunately for me, none of the Korg apps have
I've always just used the general paste board for copying audio files, and never bothered with the Audiocopy app. Is there any reason to bother with the app? It just seems to cause bloat and headaches from what I hear.
Correct. The one bonus is you have proper file names rather than "General Pasteboard", it's also useful if you like to 'make' music using other people's music (loop packs for $ale). Mostly just an annoyance and extra 2-3 steps, though.
If I uninstall Audiocopy, will all the options for audiocopy then start using the general pasteboard?
I am trying to get audio rendered within iElectribe, iMS-20 and iPolysix (using their internal sequencers) into Launchpad without using a PC. Currently I cannot do this and my only option is to try and record the audio through AB or IAA, but then I have to line up beats trim files etc which is a pain.
The apps all have audiocopy option, but audiocopy is not working as they all use the old sdk
Anybody have any ideas or suggestions ?
The Audiocopy-ish looking-screens still pop up but it defaults to the general pasteboard
Aww man, thank you, I wish i'd known this ages ago, I tried it and it worked. I've been really struggling with getting audio form these apps and all along all I needed to do was uninstall audiocopy.
Cheers again !
@AndyPlankton I have a list of rules and reminders carved in hard marble (so old are they) on the wall opposite my desk and one of the first of them says: Uninstall Audiocopy
Along with 'Enable microphone access' for any app that wants to record even if it doesn't need the microphone otherwise you'll get no input from your device, even though it is not a microphone, and spend ages checking all your cables, thinking, this worked the other day, then realise your mistake, and by then the moment is lost !

Do Not disable microphone access for Cubasis to stop getting audio input from the room when monitoring audio tracks that you have set back to Mono input from whichever IAA generator you originally used to gain back the processor and RAM. If you ignore this advice, expect to be in the previous situation again sometime soon.
Perhaps you should turn the marble into a permanent post at the top of this forum
I like pithy sayings for the marble, less chipping away with the chisel, but perhaps we could have some of yours done on those needlepoint wall hangings?
LMFAO
I gave up the needlepoint post 486 processor, once I didn't have to wait hours for audio to render anymore !
