Wow Tonestack just went on a diet.
If this could happen to all apps, I'd regain loads of storage space!

I have great respect for Yonac, they always put out quality software.
Being able to reduce the app footprint this much, without losing functionality shows that they are following solid and efficient software development practices, they have removed old unnecessary code and/or resources.
Being a software architect myself, I really like to see developers releasing this sort of update.
I presume it's the app slimming thing in iOS9, Tonestack is a universal app so it has to have lots of different resolution graphics.
Seems to me that it loads smoother into AudioBus now for me on Air2 ios9.1. I used to have to load it a couple of times to get it to work. I hope I haven't spoke too soon lol
The app is still compatible with iOS7 so it cannot be iOS9 specific.
Yes!
Wow! That's great news! A similar thing happened with JamUp XT - they updated the graphics and it balooned to over 400MB in size, but they were able to get that back down. I believe a lot of it has to do with the images stored within the app - there are ways of lowering the resolution or otherwise optimizing that.
Good on them to realize that app size (even more than app cost, IMO) is a major factor in the decision whether to buy and/or keep an app.
yes, app size matters.
Thank you Yonac!! And, I love Tonestack!!
Down to 169 mb for me now with the motherload installed.
Was at around 300 mb before(or more?).
iphone 4s preset switching is lightning fast now. Not as fast on my iPad mini (maybe even a touch slower than before the update).
App size down to 147mb though from 289mb!!
my little iphone really likes this!
