Is this true for anyone else?
All these years and all this money spent on apps ..................and I basically and most of the time end up using apps that were in my first 10 ever bought for serious endeavors.
DM1
Sunrizer
Thor
Sampletank
Kind of funny that I keep buying apps like a dope-dealer got dimes for 9 and I am all out.
Just sayin.
Oh, have a great weekend yall!

Same here. I don't feel cheated though. It's been an adventure.
Nope not true for myself. I do only use my iPad for making beats and synth sounds to play while jamming.
I've not made a complete song in the normal sense since I had my recording studio many years ago. I just use any sounds I can get and FX the shit out of them.
None of the lads I jam with care what style of music we do or try as its all just for fun. Sometimes it works, sometimes it sounds like crap lol
So I just use whatever app I feel might give us new ideas at the time. I only use DAWs for EQing or trying out ideas against other ideas.
If I was to record again, I think a Mac would be needed to go with my iPad.
No, I tend to play with my most recent apps and forget the old ones, like some kind of musical floozie
I am usualy pretty frustrated with myself for not having a pattern. I play with new, play with old, have 'eureaka! This is finaly it!' delusional moments. Chaos.
I buy new ones and get busy with the old ones.
On my 1st IPad 1st purchase Figure, 2nd Audiobus, 3rd Sunrizer, DM1, then like Magellen and Alchemy.
Funny how few apps stand for the long haul.
I think it is a matter of stability of those apps along with their musical attributes.
Don't get me wrong, I spend $30-$70 per week on APPS or IAPs for music. That's what is funny that I just end up back at the same place.
No not true for me. I still use some of my early purchases, I have outgrown others or found more recent alternatives. One of the good things about IOS is that it doesn't cost a fortune just to try apps out.
Apps are like women. They all may look desirable but only few of them stand the test of time (:
Mmmmm....women are a bit more expensive though.
