MAKING WAVES : WaveMapper vs. WaveGenerator
I am in the process of cleaning up and removing some apps on the ole' IPad to free up some space.
I have both W-Mapper and W-Generator. I guess the reason for the thread is I have never given even the due time and learning process to each of the apps as they probably deserve. That being said, I am hoping to hear insight on which app is better to you and why. Perhaps, your reason and input could give me some new criteria or function to help me decide.
So, which one do you prefer and why?

WaveMapper is great as an idea generator. Easy to make lots of new interesting patches.
Saying that, if space is uber important, Wavemapper is about twice the size of WaveGenerator.
Wave generator
It is kind of ironic, I hate the "Picture pages" patches for Dummies page where you move around icons representing the various synth parts but love the rest of that one.
Meanwhile, I like the other parts of the interface on the other one.
It is kind of neat you can use the same patches in each.
I just wish you could import samples other than ITunes. I really don't use that. I am Audiocopy, Audioshare, and Dropbox. Unless I am not aware how to do that.
Both apps are great. Wavemapper is an app full of happy accidents and fun and Wave Generator is an app of deep control and precision.

Does IPhone version work on Audiobus?
@RustiK um, yeah it does!
Wow - from this thread I've discovered Wavemapper! Yes - I'm the guy who really doesn't know the finer points of synth control and sound creation, so this seemed to be the ticket. After getting Wavemapper, I can see that it will a great learning tool as well as great sound maker. I did look at the free Wavegenerator, and while very cool, I reigned myself in, and went for mapper.
The interface and overall design of Wolfgang's apps is superb. And I don't mind the icons for magement of the various parts, as you can "get inside" them and tweak an tune to your hearts content. Watching on of the oscillator envelopes I got a very much better understanding of Sustain - as you actually see the sound sustain on the envelope till you... Release. Very cool stuff!
