MicSwap issues?
I can't find any information on how MicSwap is working with audio bus. Is anyone using it?
Is there anything I should consider before purchasing? Are the Paks included in the app? Is there a way to incorporate Audiomux?
Any advice appreciated.

It's working fine here with AB. Can't speak to the paks. I have the full version but have not played around much with the 'environments'. It's a nice app, but not really sure about the value proposition. Sorry, don't use Audiomux.
Hi Don,
MicSwap Pro is working great with Audiobus. It will work with Studiomux as well. Along with being Audiobus, IAA compatible, this upcoming update (once Apple approves) is already completed and adds the AU extension to MicSwap Pro so you can integrate it that way as well.
All mics and paks are included with the purchase of MicSwap Pro. Any questions feel free to email gary@micswap (dot) com.
Enjoy!
Good to see/hear from you Gary2. Can you point us to any good demo videos/samples for MicSwap? I like the app (as indicated), but am pretty sure I'm not getting the most out of it...
Good to hear you're getting with the AU etc.
Thanks Johnny and Dave I appreciate your help.
I don't know what AU is Gary, perhaps if you can explain.
Thanks Again!
Don
In simple terms (cos that's all I've got ) AU apps will allow you to add multiple instances of them in the same DAW song, thus you can have five mics with five different vocals using MicSwap in the new version that's due out shortly all being well....
Hi Guys,
AU is the same plugin extension used by Logic and many other DAWS, so it's another step in merging iOS with the desktop Apps. It also lets you use the plugin within the DAW so you don't have to switch screens. MicSwap looks and works great in it. That update should be out any minute, once Apple approves. For tutorials on MicSwap and MicSwap Pro Pro check these out:

(how to use with a computer)
AU (AudioUnits) – Apple’s proprietary audio technology, part of the Core Audio provided by Mac X OS. It is part of the operating system so it provides low latency and system-level support for the interface. Most DAWs developed for the Macs support the AudioUnits interface due to its stability and system-level solutions (which also means faster processing). Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, Garage Band, Presonus Studio One and many others.
@garygary Brilliant stuff. Thanks so much for your help and attention. Just realized that it is oue very own Sir Doug doing the Liverpudly-English version. May have to listen to the French also...
Haha! Yes indeed. Always love and welcome the feedback!
Update is available! Working really great on AU when you figure it out.
Nice addition to my Logic Pro X arsenal.
Volume must be adjusted in MicSwap to match your original mix!
Good Luck
Looks like you figured out AU I'll be coming to you with questions soon enough no doubt...
Hey Johnny, one thing to avoid is messing with preferences. When connecting studiomux before I always had to set my INPUT to iPad, not so with Au, just leave preferences audio set to your interface input and output. I wasted half hour with that.
From there it's just understanding send and receive in the au box. In logic that is track>effects>Au.
Hope this saves you some grief.
Appreciate your notes Mister Don, will file them away...
