Am I expecting too much from an Air 2?

With some of the sales later this week, I might get an Air 2. Just curious if you guys think one could handle what I want to do.

Audiobus: Jamup Pro + Beatmaker2 (with vocal mic, internal drums, internal bass sample keyboard) + Korg Module -->Turnado ---->Loopy.

Do you guys think it would handle it all well? Would it be laggy? Could it handle much more? I also wouldn't mind being able to run Loopy into Effectrix, or running another app for synth sounds, but that's not needed. iGrand would substitute fine for Korg Module if needed. I know my experience may vary, just kind of want to get a feel for if I'm expecting way too much. I've only played around with my iPad mini first generation so I'm kind of clueless as to the capabilities when it comes to these newer iPads.

i think even my ipad mini2 could maybe handle that. there was a huge jump when the ipad Air and ipad mini 2 came out.

That being said i cannot attest for any of those apps actualy communicating with each other properly but from a pure horsepower point of view I say you are well in the safe zone given all the stuff i have tried on the ipad air 1 and the jump now to 2

  • I'd say so, I've run 8 or so apps at once on mine, including Auria without a flutter.

  • Ah, good deal! Thanks for your time guys. : )
