Oh , it WILL be bought , of that their is no doubt. You may miss out over it but not myself and many others.
Mmmmmm nice!..........makes the mix all crispy. Got better control now.
With my app addiction am sure I'll get it anyway!. an AU of this is would be an instabuy for me but maybe it's harder to implement than IAA I don't know....
Can i open tracks in this via acp or audioshare or do i have to record audio through it via ab...
Why not use it as an in app effect and open any track you like into it?
As far as I know it's possible to 'process' the sounds thru any effects using AudioShare, no need to wait for 'realtime rendering'. Just press the 'cogwheel' in the Audioshare Record-Dialogue to process the file.
Very solid. Will consistently get use out of it.
The king who listens not learns nothing. Fortunately i am not a king, but I do listen and am constantly amazed about the stuff that was staring me in the fat face but I was never aware of. Most certainly tip of the day; thank you Sir.
Works well/solidly (for me) IAA in Auria. Don't get a transport bar however.
I've been distracted by the WoW Filter sale, thanks for the confirmation though...
All good. And in this case that's actually about right.
I've had my eye on that one for ages, hopefully the forthcoming Auria update will still support it, and/or won't build one in of their own!
Has to be said that I use Turnado far, far more, but that is probably purely user preference...
Would love to hear the results Kaikoo!
I find Turnado has too much going on for me to concentrate on simple filters, for example. It looks like WOW provides a lot more filter-wise (from what I can see), and I like the UI. Maybe I need to play with Turnado tonight though to see if I really need WOW. Think I did this during the last sale...
For the record, I think any self-respecting mangler (contradiction in terms) should have both.
That's exactly what I'll say to Mrs Monzo when she goes through the invoices...
Update - just been mucking around with Turnado inside Auria. As the pads aren't there, it forced me into the edit panel, and just came up with some ridiculously good, crazy sounds. I've neglected Turnado, which I'll be putting right on my next track. Will still probably buy WOW though, just because their effects are so damn good.
You mean record any track into it? Thats what i want to avoid..
32 bands o_O
I can't resist that amount of tinkering, looking forward to trying this out later.
Wow - thats (a lot) more feedback than I hoped for. Thank you to all of you, much appreciated!
You guys seems to have covered the most, so there is not so much for me to add. There is not any plans in near future to support AU, but there is some plans and I like some of the ideas
Cheers!
@tonappas
Is there a drawing or swiping mode on the stereo EQ locks and sliders in future plans? If that causes burden to the processing power, neglect my suggestion. It will elevate the feeling for general daily routine usage.
No plans, sorry, but suggestions and feedback are great for further improvement
Just submitted an update on SilQ Equalizer, with the following "Whats new" text
"...Please continue your great support on SilQ Equalizer by leaving an honest rating/review in the App Store!
@tonappas it would be nice to have MIDI control of the app using CC.
Agreed. MIDI learn is one of the features I would like to add. No dates or promises yet
Has anyone any luck using this within Auria pro? I seem to get instant crashers and when it does load ok then I get no sound via IAA.
Really hoping on AU for this one, will be great when that happens
@Carnbot No dice with Silq as an IAA in APro. Tried a variety of restarts and orders and, sadly, nope. Does work in AB into APro for recording in purposes, but is a big miss as regards using it as an effect. Perhaps @tonappas has 2 cents on this? Even though I have a slew of the Fabfilters, I do really like the direct utility of this (but, yeah, it has to work ).
Hi! Yes, it has to work Sadly, I don't have APro to test properly, but will make this a high priority on the next update.
Are you running the latest version of SilQ + iOS 8/9?
Does this happen with other FX apps?
Thanks for checking it out. I'm running latest version and I'm on iOS 9.1
Yes on the latest version SilQ (and I really do like it by the way); Air1/latest 9 etc.
I can't say it doesn't happen with others, but most can be made to play nice. And most -it must be said- are playing nicer (for me) now in APro than before the upgrade, especially things like FLUX and Stereo Designer. Do they flub out (technical term) sometimes? Sure. But they get it done 85/90% of the time.
Appreciate your response and look wish you luck with your next version. Using it via AB is fine but does bake in the sound of course. Especially now that folks can/are working on Midi tracks directly in Auria this is going to be a consideration.
It's a good app.
