Oh would you look at this. A thread on the audiobus forum where people are bitchin & moaning about developers not having sales. Fucking $10 apps, that are amazing. Seriously you ppl would fucking die if you had a real DAW, or God forbid hardware.

    this.

I'm 63 so I'm from the hardware era when I see drum machine, I automatically thing $400.00...So yeah...this is kinda funny!

...and $400 didn't get you anything special either.  I mean, I adored my RX17, but it was no MPC.
How much is iMPC  again?  ;-)
  • Perhaps everyone already knows this, but just as an FYI in terms of a research tool... If you go to appshopper.com and search for an app, and then scroll down to App Activity, you can see the history of the app, including pricing up and down.
  • I kind of like that developers have set what they think their effort is worth and stick to it, yet I am a total hypocrite as I have not bought Mitosynth or iTabla pro yet because was holding out for a sale
  • People like to get a bargain, plus they sometimes need a push to make a purchase. If an app is $10 and is always the same, there is no urgency to get it. But if it is $15 and has a 30% off sale for two weeks, you might feel you were missing a bargain if you didn't get it immediately.
