Tracking IAP sales?
Is there an app or website that you use to track IAP sales? I know we have Discchord's and Soundtestroom's app sales tracking pages but I haven't found one that helps track IAP sales for those apps I already own. I was holding out for a deeper discount on Tonestack's Motherload but it appears it is now back to full price, so now I need to track it somehow because I obviously do not want to pay full price.

The best source for IAP sales news seems to be here. Otherwise, I don't know of any tracking sites for such.
If anyone know about iap sale for animoog let me know, please.
Never seen one. The good news is you can transfer them between iPhone and iPad version.

I think the best way is subscribing to newsletters.
That's not true. I bought Animoog for iPhone in 2012 and bought all the IAPs, then bought Animoog for the iPad this year. I tried several times with the iPad to "restore purchases" and had no luck at all.
Did you try copying them from iTunes?
No I haven't. But is that how it works? Seems a bit long winded of an approach.
Agreed.
Thanx.! smile:
Well, I copied the "categories" folder from the iPhone app in to the iPad app using iTunes and it doesn't work. It's all there when you look in iTunes file sharing. But after disconnecting and starting the app, the IAPs still don't show up, even after restroring purchases and restarting the iPad. What a waste of time that was. I wish people would know what they're talking about when offering suggestions.
There was a time that you could do it, but perhaps the sandbox closing prohibiting ifunbox changed it. When I did out oh the past I remember having to move more than one folder over, the timbres and presets. Since Animoog is not a universal ADP the app store doesn't allow for iaps to be shared by restoring purchases. Not being a programmer I can't speak to what it takes to make an app universal, but I know they keep them separate.
I did a quick Google search and this came up, perhaps it might work for you. But you'll have to choose if it's worth your time.

Keep in mind that this forum is free by the way, advice is offered by those receiving no compensation for doing so. Generally things are cool around here.
Thanks for trying to help. But that information is outdated by 3 years and it won't work. I'm not gonna bother with Animoog anymore. This whole experience really left a bad taste in my mouth.
Ok.
The whining in my thread about Animoog has really taken things way off topic. Sorry you feel poorly about Animoog @Rich303 but you really need to take this issue elsewhere.
Back on topic, too bad there is nothing anyone knows about getting IAPs at a discount. I will definitely pay attention to this forum more often, though I see in the other threads that some developers are getting a bit pissy about the focus on sales.
Someone made a claim that the IAA can be transferred in Animoog and I proved it was wrong. Then some people were trying to help. So before you go whining about other people whining, go back and look at the facts for yourself.
